Needless to say, all of this made for exciting times for H arvey’s two founders, Winston Weinberg , formerly an associate at law firm O’Melveny & Myers, and Gabriel Pereyra , formerly a research scientist at DeepMind and a machinelearning engineer at Meta AI.
The platform itself was a marvel, a testament to the incredible power of artificial intelligence and machinelearning to transform the way we approach the law. It seemed like Borges’s infinite library, containing all possible books, arranged in a vast and complex architecture that is at once wondrous and maddening.
Next, we plan to expand the product’s scope to cover more aspects of the litigation process, to improve the machinelearning summarization model, and to develop visualizations of evidence based on the data present in the chronology. Finally, we plan to build integrations with e-discovery and practice management products.
